Founder & Canadian Certified Counsellor

Meet Christine

Welcome! I'm Christine Oviatt, a Canadian Certified Counsellor in Lethbridge, Alberta. My path as a helping professional began in education — 15 years as a teacher, followed by a Master of Counselling in Clinical Psychology from the University of Lethbridge and 10 years as a school counsellor at the elementary and middle school levels, alongside private practice work with children, teens, adults, and families.

For 25 years, I've been honoured to work alongside thousands of young people and their families as they've learned and grown. Coulee Winds Counselling is a different kind of space — one where I work alongside children and adults to find grounding and growth within their own circumstances.

Outside the Office

When I'm not counselling, you'll likely find me hiking in the coulees, baking for family and friends, enjoying a good audiobook, learning something new, or planning the next adventure.

My Approach

You are unique, and counselling works best when the style is a match for your needs. You are the expert in your life, and I'd be honoured to support you along the way.
