1. About This Website
This Site provides general information about the counselling services offered by Coulee Winds Counselling, including counselling for children, teens, adults, and parents/caregivers, as well as workshops and psychoeducation sessions. The Site also allows visitors to request or book an initial consultation.

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice or Emergency Services
The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and should not be relied upon as, counselling, psychological, medical, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
**Coulee Winds Counselling is not a crisis or emergency service.**
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. You can also reach the 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline by calling or texting 9-8-8, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in Canada.

3. No Counsellor–Client Relationship
Browsing this Site, submitting a contact form, sending an email, or booking a consultation does not create a counsellor–client relationship. A counsellor–client relationship is established only after an intake process has been completed and both parties have agreed to enter into a counselling relationship, including the signing of an informed consent agreement.
Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or urgent personal health information through the Site's contact forms or by email.

4. Eligibility and Use of the Site
You may use this Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, provincial, or local laws or regulations;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, its servers, or connected systems;
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material;
- Copy, scrape, or harvest content or personal information from the Site;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
If you are under the age of 18, please use this Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Counselling services for minors require the consent of a parent or legal guardian in accordance with Alberta law.

5. Booking, Appointments, and Cancellations
Appointments may be requested through this Site or booked through our third-party booking platform (Jane App). Booking requests are subject to availability and confirmation.

Consultations: Initial consultations are offered as described on the Site. Details, including length and format, will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Cancellations and missed appointments: Our cancellation policy, including any required notice period and fees for late cancellations or missed appointments, will be provided in the informed consent agreement and/or at the time of booking.
Fees and payment: Current fees for services will be communicated before your first session. Fees are subject to change with reasonable notice.

This Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including our booking platform (Jane App) and external resources. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites or services.
